It seems that AMD has fallen on some pretty tough times. Back in May, the company laid off 1600 workers to cut costs and save money. Now, they're cutting a further 500 jobs, bringing their totals layoffs to 2100 for this year. Seeing as Intel's latest processors are dominating the market, I'm pretty sure that this isn't the end of AMD's financial troubles. More layoffs and cutbacks to follow. AMD workers, start applying elsewhere.
